Multipurpose Two & Three Bottom Ridger Seeder and Seed & Fertilizer Drill
Why Ridger Seeder?
Establishment of good and uniform crop stand is most essential aspect of successful cultivation in dry lands as well as in irrigated areas. With Traditional methods, farmers gets poor yield due to patchy germination of small seeded crops like Bajra in Kharif and mustard in Rabi season. Rabi crops are raised on conserved moisture in dry land areas. At the time of seedling of Mustard, Taramira and Gram the moisture in soil dries up to 10-20 cm. depth. It is extremely difficult with conventional seed drills to place seed in the moist zone with optimum (3-5 cm.) soil cover over the seed. To overcome these problems Rajiv Farm Machinery Invented and Developed Ridger Seeder in India
Operation and Models
Ridger Seeder sows the Kharif crops on the shoulder of ridges and Rabi crops in the furrow by pushing the dry soil aside in a paired row system.
Available in two models:
•Ridger Seeder Two Bottom (4 rows and 9 rows) as suitable for 25 to 35 HP Tractors. Useful in Inter-croping sowing.
•Ridger Seeder Three Bottom (6 rows and 11 rows) as suitable for 40 to 45 HP Tractors. Useful in inter-croping sowing.
